NEW YORK CITY, July 23, 2026 — Senior Appellate Counsel Rob Brucato and Senior Appellate Consultant Kevin M. Momot have been named to The Daily Record and Rochester Business Journal’s 2026 Power 50 Law List.
The annual list recognizes legal professionals who help meet the needs of Rochester-area businesses and residents, guide their organizations and clients through change, and move the region’s legal community forward. Brucato and Momot were selected for their professional leadership, client service and contributions to the Western New York legal community.
Brucato has served in his current role for 34 years, building a career around appellate expertise, trusted client relationships and service to the Western New York legal community.
“It is critical to have strong connections where a client knows that you are looking at what is good for them for the long haul and not necessarily in the short term,” Brucato said in his Power 50 profile.
Brucato also discussed the importance of preserving professional connection and civility as virtual court appearances and hybrid work reduce opportunities for members of the legal community to interact in person.
He recently completed a term as president of the University at Buffalo School of Law Alumni Association and identified his work mentoring students and newer attorneys as one of his most meaningful professional contributions.
Momot, who has served in his current role for 12 years, was recognized for an approach to appellate support grounded in procedural knowledge, dependable guidance and strong client relationships.

In his Power 50 profile, Momot also addressed the growing influence of artificial intelligence on legal work.
